Counselling and psycotherapy provides a non-judgmental space where a person can talk about anything past, present or future that is causing difficutly. It is an opportunity to explore various ways to work through these difficulties. It is non-directive, so I will not tell you what to do, instead we will work together to enable you to find new ways of coping, we will eplore the possibity of change or look at strategies to achieve goals.
Typical issues that can cause people difficulties are:
Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Bullying, Self-esteem, Bereavement, Grief, Loss, Bereavement through suicide, Seperation and Relationship problems.
However you don’t need a specific event or issue to come to counselling. You may find you are encountering problems in your daily life or in relationships with friends and families and don’t quite know what is going on. Counselling provides a non-judgemental space where you will be listened to, and have the chance to explore what may be going on for you.
